According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, children should have their first well visit at their dental office by the age of one year. While that may seem early to some of our patients, the recommendation is based on the concept of early detection of any dental problems. We look for decay, evaluate your child’s bite, and help them become accustomed to the dental office.
Dr. Sean Drower is especially good with children. He has the ability to put them at ease and communicate with them effectively in a way that they can understand. Dr. Drower knows that your child is so important to you and an early exam can not only allow him to detect any early dental problems, but it also allows for the opportunity to discuss home care, brushing, flossing, nutrition, bottle behavior, pacifiers, fluoride and other children’s dentistry topics. An early visit also allows our parents to ask any questions they may have regarding their child’s dental health.
Our family-focused dental office allows your entire family the convenience to have treatment all in one place. Instead of having to make another trip to a pediatric office, Dr. Sean Drower is happy to see the whole family, which makes life easier for our busy patients.
